Claire

While in Wal-mart recently, I discovered that Claire really liked this headband with a flower on it. Since she is so picky with what she will let me do with her hair, I was really excited by this discovery. I bought the first one just to see if she would really wear it. After 3 days straight of her requesting to wear it, I went back for every color under the rainbow. Claire will now be the creepy flower headband girl, but that's better than Raggedy Ann :)

God doesn't make junk

Every night Mark and I say affirmations with Claire after her prayers and we tell her that God has a very special plan for her life. The other night after her bath Claire looked at me and said "Mommy, I am pretty, I am beautiful, and God made me perfect. And I am healthy because God doesn't make junk" Such a proud mommy moment, that just melted my heart :)





I can not believe that my little girl will be 3 in a month!

Manitou Incline and The Olympics!

Every year I really look forward to April because that's when we have Seminar in Colorado Springs. About 1000 of us meet at the bottom of the Manitou Incline at 5am to climb the mountain. The last 2 times I only made it up half way, but not this year! I made it to the top in a little under an hour and back down in 45 minutes! Pretty Awesome! This was the first year that Mark was able to do it as well.


We also got to visit the Olympic Training Center! I am proud to say that I have been hand selected with a few others to be one of the official Wellness Doctors for 5 of our USA Olympic teams: USA Judo, USA Wrestling, USA Weightlifting, USA Volleyball, and USA Martial Arts. I will be traveling with them to the 2012 Olympic games in London next summer!!!!! So exciting!!!

Going to seminar is like a mini vacation. Here are some of my sweet friends...the other doctors I am in training with while in Florida.



While we were in CO, Claire was having a blast of her own. Her Nonnie and Tini took her swimming, to the beach and the zoo. From the looks of it they had a great time!


Now off to our next adventure. We will be in San Antonio next week for our site selection trip, where we will be narrowing down our choices of office space with a Realtor! Please send prayers our way that we will find the perfect place!

I put Claire down for a nap in our bed, then went in to check on her sleeping. Only she wasn't sleeping...she was in the shower playing with "cream cheese." (aka shaving cream) So cute...
